Megan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2004, and went on to receive her Master’s in Education with a focus in literacy from Concordia University Austin in 2009, and then completed all of the BCBA coursework from Florida Institute of Technology in 2013. Megan has worked in the field of ABA with children, adolescents, and adults with autism since 2012. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, homes, daycares, multidisciplinary clinics, and adult day-habs. Megan began working for Promise Center for Autism at the beginning of April of 2022. As a program supervisor, Megan currently oversees a caseload of clients ABA programs, supervises staff with clients on a daily basis,conducts initial assessments, creates and updates treatment plans, and provides collaborative coaching to both parents and school staff. Megan’s main areas of focus include using person centered and compassionate practices that incorporate Hanley’s Skills Based Treatment, Pivotal Response Training, Naturalistic Teaching, and building genuine connections and relationships with all clients and their families. Megan currently lives in San Antonio with her husband, 2 young boys ages 4 and 7, and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, doing fun things outdoors with her children and puppies, and cooking.
