ABA
Intensive Therapy
At Promise Center for Autism, our ABA therapy is rooted in play, compassion, and meaningful connection. We use evidence-based strategies to support children in developing functional skills such as communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation, while gently reducing behaviors that may interfere with daily life. Every child’s journey is unique, and we meet them where they are—celebrating progress every step of the way.
Our highly trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) bring warmth and skill to each session, using approaches like Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), Functional Communication Training (FCT), Verbal Behavior (VB), and a variety of augmented communication tools to help each child thrive.
In alignment with BACB guidelines, our intensive therapy programs meet the recommended treatment intensity and comprehensive goals. Most children benefit from 30–40 hours per week of 1:1 direct support, in addition to caregiver training, supervision, and any other services needed for well-rounded care.
Enrichment: Our Enrichment Program is a joyful, structured space designed for young learners ages 2–6. With a focus on building early communication, social engagement, and behavioral skills, this program also gently prepares children for the rhythm and expectations of a classroom setting.
Each day follows a schedule inspired by a PreK environment, blending group learning with individualized 1:1 sessions—always supported by a dedicated RBT. Children explore themed lessons through play, discovery, and connection, with special weekly activities like yoga, Zumbini, art, and science. It’s a space where children are supported, celebrated, and encouraged to shine.
Extensive Therapy
Our Extensive Therapy program offers a flexible, individualized approach for children who may not require full-day services but still benefit from consistent, focused support. Sessions are thoughtfully designed to help children build on essential skills—like communication, social engagement, and emotional understanding—while addressing behaviors that may be barriers to learning or connection.
Aligned with BACB guidelines, our extensive therapy services meet the standards for focused ABA, typically ranging from 10–25 hours per week of direct therapy, plus supervision and caregiver collaboration.
Social Skills Program: This group-based program is designed to help children ages 6–12 build the confidence and skills needed to connect meaningfully with peers. With an emphasis on real-life social experiences, we focus on areas like initiating and responding in conversations, turn-taking, social problem solving, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and navigating group dynamics.
Each session includes a fun, engaging activity where children practice these skills in a natural setting. Individual goals are woven into group experiences, creating a supportive space where every child can grow, connect, and feel included.

1:1 or Group ABA in Schools
For schools and families open to ongoing support, we offer both 1:1 ABA therapy and small group social skills sessions within the school day. These services can be coordinated around specials or extracurriculars, providing targeted skill-building in a familiar setting—without disrupting the student’s regular schedule.
Consultation Services
Our consultation services are tailored to the unique needs of each school or family. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can observe students, provide insights on specific behavioral challenges, and offer training or recommendations to enhance positive behaviors and classroom success. Whether it’s a one-time visit or ongoing collaboration, we’re here to help.
ABA Parent Training
Helping Your Child Thrive
Our parent training program is designed to give caregivers practical tools and gentle guidance rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Together, we’ll explore how small, everyday moments can become powerful opportunities for growth and connection.
In this training, we focus on building your child’s confidence and motivation using positive reinforcement and supportive feedback. You’ll also learn ways to gently reduce challenging behaviors while helping your child strengthen essential life skills—all with strategies that feel doable, nurturing, and meaningful in your family’s day-to-day life.
Consultation
We believe that children thrive best when the whole team works together. Our consultation services are offered on a case-by-case basis to support collaboration between families and professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and medical providers.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide thoughtful observations, guidance on managing challenging behaviors, and support with strategies to increase positive behaviors—whether in the home, classroom, or therapy setting. Our goal is to create a consistent, compassionate approach that helps each child grow across all environments.
Potty Training Support
Toilet training can feel overwhelming for many families—especially when it’s hard to know where or how to begin. Our potty training support is here to help guide you through the process with clear, evidence-based strategies that are tailored to your child’s readiness and needs. With gentle structure and encouragement, we’ll work together to make this important milestone feel a little less stressful—and a lot more achievable.
OT
Our Occupational Therapy program is all about helping children do the things that matter most to them—through play, daily routines, and meaningful connection. Whether it’s building motor skills, navigating sensory experiences, or developing greater independence in everyday tasks, we support each child with curiosity, care, and creativity.
Our approach is child-led, meeting each child where they are and gently guiding them toward their goals. We use a variety of evidence-based techniques, including the SOS Approach to Feeding, DIR/Floortime, Neurodevelopmental Techniques (NDT), Reflex Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, Brain Gym, mindfulness strategies, and therapeutic listening. When needed, we also provide environmental modifications and support in evaluating equipment such as wheelchairs, orthotics, and adaptive tools for daily life.
We help children grow in areas like:
- Handwriting and fine motor coordination
- Dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Household chores and daily routines
- Functional mobility
- Sensory regulation and integration
- Executive functioning
- Feeding and mealtime participation
Family collaboration is a core part of our care. We invite you to join us for training and consultations so we can work together to support your child’s success in every environment. We can’t wait to be part of your journey!
Speech
Using evidence-based practices, we support development in:
- Articulation
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social/pragmatic language
- Fluency and more
Our speech therapists use a variety of supportive tools and strategies such as modeling, imitation, expansion, parallel talk, visual supports, low-tech communication boards, and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices to meet each child’s unique needs and preferences.
We also draw from a range of respected therapy models, including Literacy-Based Speech Therapy, DIR/Floortime, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning), and more—always with flexibility, creativity, and heart.
Collaboration is at the core of what we do. Our team works closely with families and other professionals to create a well-rounded therapy experience, and we’re passionate about empowering caregivers with the tools they need to support communication at home and beyond.
Feeding
At Promise Center for Autism, we believe mealtimes should be joyful—not stressful. Our Feeding Program supports children ages 2–12 who struggle with eating or have a limited variety of foods in their diet. Whether challenges stem from muscle tone, sensory sensitivities, or behavior patterns, our team works gently and collaboratively to identify the root causes and create a personalized plan.
Our approach is grounded in the evidence-based Managing Eating Aversions and Limited Variety (MEAL) Plan, a 13-session treatment model led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This outpatient program is ideal for children who benefit from less intensive therapy—typically one hour per week—with the option to add telehealth support once in-clinic therapy has begun.
Our compassionate team includes specialists across disciplines who are passionate about helping kids build a healthy, happy relationship with food. Sessions are playful, child-led, and designed to keep children relaxed and engaged as they explore new tastes and textures through hands-on activities.
We also empower families through real-time coaching and take-home strategies, so that progress at the clinic continues at the dinner table and beyond.
ADOS-2 Testing
Now offering ADOS-2 testing to help navigate this difficult process of screening/evaluations and help expedite access to services. The ADOS-2 is considered a gold standard diagnostic tool in addition to a comprehensive evaluation to assist in diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our evaluator will complete the testing on-site within 2 hours and provide a written report that can be reviewed by treating physicians to assist with diagnostic determination. Please note, the results of the ADOS-2 alone will not constitute a formal ASD diagnosis. The report may serve as part of the official diagnosis that needs to be provided by a pediatrician, neurologist, or developmental specialist.
